Wondering how to create membership sites? It’s actually very easy if you’ve got the right tools. This article shows you how to set up your own membership site in 5 steps.
Most systems our there require you to know about MySQL databases, php and tons of other technical stuff. Not Traindom. You can create membership sites in minutes without any technical hassles.
Creating your own membership site with Traindom is super easy (and free).
1. First step
Go to Traindom and click on the ‘Create your free account’ button.
On the next screen follow the instruction on the screen, fill out the registration form and you’re done.
2. Once registered, you will come to this screen
Now all you have to do is to add content to your new membership site. You can start by clicking ‘Create the first content for your training’ below or use the ‘Add new content’ button on the right.
3. Choose when the members will get access to a particular piece of content
You can have all or part of your content be available immediately and also create drip content. Drip content means that you can have a particular chapter open 2, 30 or 60 (or whatever you like) days after they sign up for the membership site.
This is helpful when you create monthly membership sites or say 12-month programs. You can have new content open up every 30 days.
Every piece of content you create can consist of text, images and video. Video upload and streaming is already built-in to Traindom.
4. Set your pricing structure
Click on the ‘Set product pricing’ tab and choose period payments as your payment structure.
In order for it to be a membership site you need to switch on the recurring payments. If you keep one-time payment, it’s just an information product and not a membership site.
Once this is done you also need to configure your payment methods. Just click on ‘Payment methods’ on the right and choose the methods you want to use (e.g. PayPal). You get all the money directly to your account.
5. Create your sign-up page
Once your content is done, you need to create the sign-up page. This is what your future customers will see before making the purchase. You can create this page via ‘Public homepage’ tab.
Traindom is very simple and intuituve and there’s many other great features to create a great membership site. There’s a built-in forum where you can discuss stuff with your clients, you can create coupon codes to use for promotion and much more.
